When God tells you “Yes.”

There are some very specific times in my life when I have distinctly known that God was telling me “no.” Sometimes I obeyed, and sometimes I did not, and suffered the consequences, as any child would. But there have also been some momentous occasions when God has told me, “YES!”.

You can be sure that when God tells you “Yes,” Satan is going to be right there to try and convince you otherwise. He’s going to put people in your path to try and break you down, instead of lift you up. He’s going to give you just enough information to doubt yourself and whether God really said, “Yes.” Don’t lost hope. Hold on to those people that GOD puts in your path to lift you up, even though there may only be one or two–they may make all the difference. Listen to HIM. Read what He says, and pray for direction. The Bible very plainly tells us that Satan is her to “steal, kill, and destroy.” Don’t give him the satisfaction. When God gives you a “yes” don’t let Satan turn it into a “what if?”.

And last but NOT least, tell Satan to “GO AWAY in the NAME OF JESUS!”

I can assure you that there will be seasons of no’s and yes’s in your life. Enjoy them both. Give all the glory to God for BOTH. But when Satan sends people your way to try and steal your joy that God has plainly given you…send him packing. Stand firm in your faith and cling tight to the truth God has given you.

I am a child of God, first and foremost. Secondly I am a wife; very much ( and sometimes undeservingly) loved, by my husband Sam. And last, but most certainly not least, I am a mom to 3 beautiful boys: Mitchell, Andrew and Buddy. We homeschool, love family time, and enjoy helping others. I am also a doula. I love my work and love writing about it as well. I am very passionate about my beliefs, and my blogs tend to show that. Enjoy reading!
